Taipei - HTC has sold half its stake in Beats Eletronics. This step is indicated, the Taiwanese manufacturer of telecommunications equipment that was not a good investment prospects in the Beats.
HTC said in a bourse filing on the Stock Exchange during the week, they will retain approximately 25 percent ownership of the Beats with the remaining 75 percent stake back to the hands of Beats. Thus was launched from PCWorld on Monday (7/23/2012).
"Beats HTC has given exclusivity in the use of audio products Beats on mobile devices. HTC and Beats will continue to work together, including a campaign later this year," writes HTC.
As is known, in August last year, HTC announced the investment of approximately USD 300 million in Beats. These investments are made to enhance the audio capabilities on smartphones besutannya.
