SEOUL - Samsung claims Apple refuses to negotiate the basic 3G patent licensing, including the iPhone and the iPad.
Proclaimed PC World, Tuesday (24/07/2012), it was revealed on the first day of the patent court in the Federal Court, Sydney.
In Australia, Apple filed suit against Samsung in July 2011 then. They accused the Galaxy tablet made by Samsung infringe on touchscreen technology.
South Korean electronics giant was immediately hit back Apple. They claim that Apple infringed patents 3G data transmission via the iPhone and iPad 4 and 4S.

Relations between the two giants broke out after Apple filed a lawsuit related to tablet Galaxy in California on April 2011. Samsung's lawyer, Neil Young said it has offered negotiations to license its patents in the corridors of fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND).
"Our position now, Apple has refused to negotiate," said Young.
Samsung is asking the judge Annabelle Claire Bennett for separate hearings on the patent claims. The trial was scheduled for this weekend, with additional sessions in October
