Company blames their data center-related failures that chirp site access. "The cause of failure due to access our data center," wrote the vice president of engineering Mazen Rawashden through blog posts. As reported by CRN, Friday (28/07/2012).
"We are aggressively improve our system to anticipate similar situations in the future," added Rawashden.
He said the company discovered the problem in one of the infrastructure component last night and today the company has been able to handle the intrusion. Services can be recovered within a few hours.
"We know how Twitter is very important to you. Every day we bring people closer to their idol. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our site" wrote Rawshdeh.
